These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Pixly, a Chrome extension for capturing and styling browser screenshots. By using Pixly, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of Service
Pixly allows you to:
- Capture visible, selection, or full-page browser screenshots
- Apply backgrounds, shadows, and rounded corners
- Export images for personal or commercial use
Pixly offers a Free tier and a Pro upgrade that removes watermarks and unlocks additional features.
2. License & Access
Pixly Pro requires a valid license key. License verification uses a locally generated device ID and your browser user agent to prevent abuse.
You are responsible for safeguarding your license key and for any activity under your license.
3. Payments & Refunds
Pixly Pro is a one-time purchase processed securely by Polar.
All sales are final and we do not offer refunds.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Pixly for illegal or harmful activities
- Distribute malware, spam, or deceptive content
- Attempt to bypass license verification or other security measures
- Interfere with or disrupt our services or infrastructure
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
5. Intellectual Property
Pixly and its branding are owned by us. You retain all rights to screenshots you create. We do not claim ownership of your content.
6. Availability
We strive to keep Pixly available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or availability.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Pixly if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.
8. Privacy
Your use of Pixly is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland.
